With its breathtakingly beautiful backdrop, convenient location, and excellent facilities, Conwy Quays Marina is a great choice. The Mulberry Public House serves excellent food and drinks on site. A general store, The Mulberry Stores, also operates from the marina and a cashpoint is available. The marina is linked to Conwy’s new harbour quay and town by the delightful ‘marine walk’ and is adjacent to the nationally renowned Conwy Golf Club
Conwy is a fascinating walled town of quaint narrow streets. Among the few ancient houses that still survive are Aberconwy, owned by the National Trust, a 14th century house used for exhibitions showing the history of the town, and Plas Mawr, one of the nest remaining examples of an Elizabethan country house.
With suf cient rise of tide, shallow draught vessels can explore the Conwy River as far inland as Tal-y- Cafn, where you can secure alongside for lunch. In
the opposite direction there are the bays and unspoilt coves of Anglesey, along with the beautiful Menai Straits to be explored. After a pleasant day’s sail, what could be better than to spend the evening in one of the many local anchorages, sampling the nearby island hospitality.
